New Here? You Are Welcome

What to Expect on Your First Visit.

If you’re visiting for the first time, we’re glad you’re here.

Many people arrive at the Bahá’í community curious about spiritual life, community, or the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh. Others come through a friend, a children’s class, a youth program, or a service project. However you arrived, you are warmly welcome.

What Should I Expect?

The Bahá’í community strives to be a place where every person is met with respect, kindness, and openness—where differences are welcomed and community is built through love, collaboration, and mutual care.

The gatherings are generally small and informal and may include prayers, readings, conversation, music, children’s or youth activities, or service.

Where Should I Start?

We often recommend beginning with:

  • A devotional gathering

  • A study circle

  • A children’s class or junior youth group, for families.

Each offers a gentle entry into community life. You do not need to know what you believe or where you belong before reaching out. Questions and sincere curiosity are always welcome.
